  I must say that I am extremely surprised by some of the lower reviews for Annie Creek Restaurant. I find it hard to believe that we just happened to show up on a lucky day or something. My friend and I stopped in last week on our way to Crater Lake National Park to grab a bite for breakfast. The first thing that struck me was how beautiful the dining area is. The young gentleman who served us was quite friendly and helpful. As is the norm in park areas, much of the staff was from a foreign country. Our server happened to be from Romania. He was attentive and kept our drinks full. Our food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious! I ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and sausage. The biscuits were light, fluffy and huge(and I mean seriously huge!). In addition, the plentiful amount of gravy was also loaded with sausage. Scrambled eggs were cooked perfect. I normally will only review breakfasts if they are exceptionally good, and this definitely qualified! I was also quite pleasantly surprised because lodge area food is usually not so terrific.
  
  In addition, attached to the restaurant is an absolutely delightful gift shop with quite a large variety of items that you can take home for souvenirs.
